Our association with the hospital and locations in Bend and Redmond allow us to maintain close contact with your personal physician, to individualize your program within the broader context of your medical history, and to closely guide and monitor your progress through all stages of therapy. We accept all forms of insurance, including Medicare and private insurance.

Rehabilitation of Neurological Conditions

Our focus on brain and spinal cord related conditions includes working with patients recovering from the effects of spinal cord injuries, stroke, head injury or debilitating neurological illnesses. Four Neurologic Certified physical therapists are part of the St. Charles Rehab team.

Rehabilitation for Seniors

Five geriatric certified physical therapists are currently part of the St. Charles rehab team. We offer a variety of programs that are of particular interest to the elderly. The patients work with specialists to treat:

Rehabilitation for Children

The Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Program operates under the supervision of the only pediatric physiatrist (a physician trained in both pediatrics and rehabilitation medicine) practicing in Oregon on east side of the Cascades. With focus and expertise at all levels of care, the program's goal is to maximize the independence, mobility, and language and cognitive skills of children and adolescents.

Oncology Rehabilitation

We want to help you maintain an active and satisfying life during cancer tratment as well as during survivorship phase. Our specially-trained team of licensed therpaists can help you overcome physical and psychological challenges so you can continue to maximize your independence with daily activities.

The Role of Rehabilitation in Cancer Treatment
  • Reducing symptom experience--pain and cancer related fatigue.
  • Improving psychological health--decreasing anxiety and depression and increasing self esteem.
  • Managing physical function--musculoskeletal, general fitness, physical performance and eating.
