Acute Care Nursing Leader

This is an excellent opportunity for the seasoned professional Nursing Leader that is interested in growing with this unique health care facility.  The Acute Care Nursing Leader is responsible for the Medical, Surgical, Swing, and Obstetrical Acute Care Nursing Departments and will provide leadership of Nursing Services ensuring positive strategic direction, and strong operational initiatives to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality, effective, efficient and customer-focused nursing care throughout the organization.

The selected candidate will be the visionary leader to take nursing, quality and the patient experience to the next level of excellence. They will be very involved in building on the collaborative relationships currently experienced with the well respected medical staff. Responsibilities also include preparing departmental reports, performance appraisals, organize and conduct staff meetings, and understand the basics of the budgetary process.  Additional responsibilities include: physician committee oversight, quality projects, policy and procedure management and direct staff supervision.

Director of Provider Affairs

The Director of Provider Affairs is responsible for the overall administrative leadership of our Physicians, Clinics and MSO ensuring positive strategic direction, and strong operational initiatives to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality, effective, efficient and customer-focused care throughout the organization. The selected candidate will be the visionary leader to take quality and the patient experience to the next level of excellence. They will be very involved in building on the collaborative relationships currently experienced with the well respected medical staff.  Responsibilities also include monitoring, evaluating and seeking to improve patient satisfaction as well as supporting and guiding the strong Physician and Clinic management teams in developing new efficiencies in the patient care model.

We are looking for a Director of Provider affairs that is dynamic, a great communicator, and is willing to work closely with the community and our medical staff.  This position reports to a dynamic, forward thinking CEO who inspires the team with passion for our mission.   The candidate must possess a collaborative and participatory management style with honest and direct communication skills.

Clinic Manager, Madras Medical Group

This is an excellent opportunity for the seasoned professional Clinic Manager who will serve as an administrator for an independent, free standing 6-provider Family Medicine Practice with planned growth to 8 providers.  The Practice has a Management Service Agreement with Mountain View, the sole community provider hospital providing full management service to the practice, including non-physician employees and benefits.  The Clinic Manager will be employed by the hospital and provided to the practice through this MSO agreement.

Founded in 1968 by Drs. Carlos Kemper and George Waldman, the Madras Medical Group Clinic, often referred to as ‘MMG’, has been providing comprehensive medical services in Madras for over 35 years. 

At the core of the organizational structure is a family practice group of five physicians working together with a physician assistant specializing in family medicine. Each physician offers continuing, premier, full-family care for patients of all ages coordinated with an emphasis on superior quality.  Other family medicine specialty interests include complete maternity care including C-sections, preventive health for adults and children, care for chronic conditions and diseases, and end of life care. The physicians and physician assistant are Diplomats of the American Board of Family Medicine. 

MMG is committed to supporting many community programs and each physician is actively involved in local activities throughout the year. 

Over the past four years, the physicians have hosted visiting medical students from Oregon Health Science University, and in 2005 and 2008, MMG has received the Community Preceptor Award from OHSU.  This award is presented to those physicians who display dedication to enhancing the education of OHSU medical students. 

The selected candidate will be a visionary leader.   They will be very involved in building on the collaborative relationships currently experienced with the well respected medical staff.  We are looking for a Clinic Manager who has outstanding interpersonal skills and is a great communicator.  Successful candidates will have proven success in Physician relations/communication, be hands on leader and have Physician practice billing system experience as well as EMR/EHR experience. 

5-7 years practice management experience, Family Practice or Primary Care preferred.  Bachelor’s degree required, healthcare management related preferred.  Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or Fellow American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) preferred.Apply now...
