Asthma Clinic at St. Charles Redmond

Learning to Live with Asthma

St. Charles Redmond is proud to offer an educational Asthma Clinic to our asthma patients. This clinic is free of charge and is open to all people of all ages who have been diagnosed with asthma. Here, you’ll learn more about asthma and how to better manage this disease. You’ll also get a new peak flow meter as well as a "spacer device" for your metered dose inhalers at no charge.

Your physician should refer you to the clinic. Once we have the referral and before the clinic, an appointment will be scheduled for you to meet with a Respiratory Care Provider. During this visit of about one hour, we’ll review your medical history, medications, your inhaler technique, and how you use your peak flow meters and spacer devices. A 30-minute follow-up visit will be scheduled for one to two weeks later. Subsequent visits may be scheduled just to answer questions and check your progress.

If you would like to contact the clinic yourself, we will assist in obtaining a referral from your primary physician and then schedule you for your first appointment. We hope you will utilize this clinic and that it will be of great benefit in helping you take charge of your asthma!
