Environmental Services
At our largest hospital, our environmental services department cleans up to 40 patient discharge rooms per day and up to 180 occupied rooms per day.
Wage Range
Depending upon position and years of experience.
$10.55 to $15.81 per hour

Successful candidates should possess:
- Previous industrial housekeeping and/or hospitality experience preferred
- Familiar with, and the ability to use, common cleaning agents and basic housekeeping tools
- High level of attention to detail and ability to handle, with training, bio-hazardous materials and possible infectious materials.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds or more, push/pull, stoop, bend, reach and walk throughout shift

General Information
Environmental Service Attendants - Our attendants do the top to bottom cleaning of our patient rooms and bathrooms as well as clean common areas of the hospitals. They are also responsible for all the linen and trash distribution for the hospitals. Our attendants work in unoccupied and occupied patient rooms and will need to have the capacity to handle challenging situations. There are opportunities to move into similar positions, such as Operating Room Assistant as well as other positions in the hospital.
