Application and Hiring Process
How do I find out about available
positions?
All of our open positions,
at St. Charles Bend, St. Charles Redmond, Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville and affiliated clinics,
are posted on our web site. In addition, we advertise positions in local newspapers, various publications, other web sites and at job fairs.
How do I
apply for a job?
Our job application is available for completion and submission online. Applications may also be updated online. Computer kiosks are available in our Human Resources offices for those without computer access.
What
qualifications do I need to work at SCHS?
The job description for each open position lists minimum qualifications and licensing requirements. We ask that you only apply for the positions for which you meet the minimum requirements.
What can I
expect during the review and interview process?
Each application will be prescreened by a professional recruiter with input from the hiring manager. Applications meeting the position requirements are forwarded to hiring managers for review. Applicants selected for an interview will be personally contacted. Applicants who are not selected to interview for a position will receive an email message notifying them of our decision.

What opportunities are available for career
growth and education?
SCHS offers a variety of classes for caregivers; in addition, the hospital provides tuition reimbursement of approved expenses at an accredited school or university for classes relevant to a caregiver’s job.
How are caregivers
recognized at SCHS?
We select a Caregiver of the Month for each hospital campus. Caregivers are thanked for their service for five, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years.
