Learning to Live with Asthma
St. Charles Redmond offer an educational Asthma Clinic to asthma patients, free of charge and is open to anyone diagnosed with asthma. Here, you'll learn more about asthma and how to better manage it. You'll also receive, at no charge, a new peak flow meter as well as a "spacer device" for your metered dose inhalers.
You'll need a physician referral and will be scheduled to meet with a Respiratory Care Provider before attending the clinic. During this hour-long visit, we review your medical history, medications, inhaler technique, and how you use peak flow meters and spacer devices. You can expect to schedule a 30-minute follow-up visit and subsequent visits may be scheduled to check your progress.
