Objectives
- Be familiar with the limited historical evidence leading to IV only therapy for osteomyelitis, bacteremia, and endocarditis.
- Be familiar with the modern evidence demonstrating oral antibiotic efficacy for these diseases.
- Understand reasonable patient selection criteria for oral transition.
