Objectives
- Recognize the multiple barriers to healthy and satisfying sexual relationships including but not limited to: body image disorders, erectile dysfunction, early ejaculation, “spectatoring” during sexual experiences.
- Recognize the problem of vaginal pain during sex, environmental barriers to intimacy, uneven desire between partners, sexually related power struggles, conflict about porn use, “sexual addiction”.
- Recognize the impact of a history of sexual abuse, emotional conflict exhaustion, orgasmic dysfunction, faking it, distraction during sex, and conflict about request to open monogamous relationships to other partners.
