Willow Huffine is a licensed psychologist and an embedded behavioral health consultant at St. Charles Family Care and the Center for Women’s Health in Redmond. Dr. Huffine began her career as a Registered Nurse, and when she subsequently earned a Ph.D. in psychology, she worked both as an RN and a psychologist until joining St. Charles in 2015. She has worked as an RN in administration, ICU, surgery, labor and delivery, the emergency department, state psychiatric hospitals and in wilderness medicine. Her medical background allows her to understand medical conditions and appreciate the mind-body relationship in which medical and psychological conditions influence each other. After completing a doctorate in psychology, Dr. Huffine earned a bachelor’s degree in spiritual studies and is an ordained minister. Working with a mind-body-spirit appreciation, Dr. Huffine utilizes a holistic perspective for patient assessment and treatment.
Dr. Huffine has experience as a psychologist in outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, the federal prison system, private practice, teaching at the university level and working with at-risk teen girls in a wilderness setting. She is a member of the Oregon Psychological Association and is past President and current Vice-President of the Central Oregon Association for Psychologists.
Willow is part of our Behavioral Health Consultant Program and is only able to see patients at the St. Charles Family Care clinic in Redmond.
