Your safety is our priority

We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure you feel comfortable visiting St. Charles hospitals and clinics and we’re working hard to minimize your risk of exposure to COVID-19. St. Charles continues to be a safe place to receive care.

Here are some of the steps we’ve taken to make our facilities as safe as possible:

  • Patients, visitors and caregivers at all St. Charles locations are continuously masked.
  • All caregivers and visitors are asked screening questions related to COVID-19 prior to entering any of our hospitals. Caregivers also have their temperature taken daily.
  • Anyone scheduled for surgery is tested for COVID-19 prior to surgery.
  • Emergency rooms have separate areas for patients with no fever or respiratory symptoms.
  • Most of our St. Charles providers are able to see patients through virtual visits online, or via a phone call or message.
  • All COVID-19 patients are kept in separate areas of the hospital.
  • Lobbies and common areas are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
  • Visitors are limited to reduce the spread of COVID-19 within our facilities.
  • Many of our registration areas have plexiglass dividers to provide additional protection.
  • Signage is placed throughout our facilities to remind everyone to maintain physical distancing.
  • Many of the staff at our clinic locations are working remotely when possible. Reducing staff in the clinics helps maintain social distancing among patients and caregivers.

Screenings, vaccines and exams help prevent health issues before they occur and are critical to good health. It is important for you to get the care you need when you need it – don’t delay. We are here to take care of you.

Please call your provider’s office and make an appointment to stay up-to-date with your health care. We also offer virtual visits – care from the comfort of your home.
