Description

This free class is offered to anyone with heart disease or a chronic condition that affects the heart. Family members who would like to learn more are also welcome. This is an in-person class held at St. Charles Bend in Conference Room D.

What you will gain:

  • Basic knowledge on the heart - how it works (and when it doesn’t)
  • Heart medication management confidence
  • Nutrition and exercise information customized for people with chronic conditions
  • Tips on getting heart healthy foods into your diet

  • Increase confidence regarding disease management as well as making a personal plan for setbacks
  • Identifying new coping skills to help you thrive
