ECT Program Update

St. Charles has temporarily paused its Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) program due to limited provider availability. We are not accepting new referrals currently. Current patients will complete their treatment plans before the end of April 2026. We anticipate this pause may last six months or longer. We will share updates here as soon as more information is available.

If you are seeking ECT, please speak with your psychiatrist, primary care provider, or mental health provider about alternative treatment options and referral locations. The closest ECT provider is the OHSU Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Portland.
