"Alternative Treatments and Non-traditional Approaches to Mental Health"

Objectives

  1. Define Depression and describe the goals of treatment.
  2. Identify new and alternate therapeutic options for depression.
  3. Describe the mechanism of action of ketamine and its physiological and psychological effects.
  4. Identify conventional treatments for depression and contrast them with ketamine and alternative treatments.
