About Shaffer

Dr. Shaffer attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received rheumatology training at the University of Utah.

Dr. Shaffer has a particular interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound.

In his free time, Dr. Shaffer enjoys hiking, rock climbing, skiing and riding motorcycles. He is excited to enjoy the outdoor opportunities with his wife and their two dogs.
