About Smith

Melissa Smith received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy in Henderson, Nev. She completed a postgraduate year one residency at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. and a postgraduate year two residency in Ambulatory Care at Oregon State University/Oregon Health & Science University College of Pharmacy in Portland, Ore. She is board certified in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy.

Her interest is in management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and asthma/COPD. She helps patients achieve their personal goals through effective communication and finding individualized treatment options.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, yoga, and hiking with her significant other and their dog.
