Mike graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1992. He obtained his clinical specialty in Neurological Physical Therapy from the APTA in 2000, 2010 and again in 2022. He received his competency certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation through the APTA in 2009, his Assistive Technology Professional certification from RESNA in 2004, and his Seating and Mobility Specialist certification from RESNA in 2021.
Mike has worked full time in Neurological Physical Therapy since 1995 - first at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA and for the past 22 years at St. Charles Bend, where he helps run a weekly wheelchair/seating clinic in the inpatient rehabilitation department. He works as an adjunct professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Oregon State University Cascades and teaches continuing education webinars for Allied Health Education.
