About Irvine

A Northwest native who grew up in Idaho and Washington, Dr. William Irvine has lived in Oregon for most of the last 20 years. He received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University. Dr. Irvine completed his family medicine training with a focus on rural health care and obstetrics at Family Medicine Spokane. His professional interests include the primary care medical home, pediatric care and women’s health. At St. Charles, Dr. Irvine provides inpatient hospital care, full-spectrum obstetrical care and care for patients in clinic. Dr. Irvine speaks Spanish and is honored to help care for our community’s native Spanish-speaking patients.

Away from work, Dr. Irvine is usually spending time with his wife and two children. You might find them swooping down the slopes of Mt. Bachelor, hiking the Tam McArthur Rim or getting splashed while rafting on the Deschutes River. Dr. Irvine and family also enjoy international travel. He and his wife have hauled their kids all over the world including Norway, Switzerland, Columbia, Peru and Ecuador.
